Contractors On-site
The contractors on-site are hired and performing maintenance and services approved and scheduled by the Board.
The Building Committee and by extension the Board is responsible for the completion and inspection of work underway on the property.
If you have questions or concerns about work underway, please do not ask the contractor directly. More than likely the individual you’re asking is only following directions from their supervisor, and may not have the answers you’re looking for. Keep in mind, some of our contractors are paid by the hour. The more stops for questions they receive, the longer it will take to complete the job, and the more it will cost our community.
REMEMBER the contractor is taking direction from Property Manager or the Board Committee and cannot deviate from the instructions provided in the service agreement or contract.
If you have concerns about work underway that you feel is being done unsafely, again please do not direct these concerns to the contractor directly. If what you see requires 911, use it.
In all cases, please contact a Board member for any questions or concerns regarding work underway on the property.
Finally, there is no place for rudeness or confrontation with contractors or other homeowners. This includes yelling, criticism, or belittling comments. And while this should go without saying, in the spirit of community health we feel it’s necessary to remind you, such behavior is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
